Oh, and all top departments are in the Universities that are not designated as greenfield 'centres of excellence' during the Celtic Tiger and were not in receipt of massive specially-designated 'convergence' infrastructure funding from the National Development Plans.

Are you inferring the standards and quality of instruction are lower in Trinity economics department than in the Humanities departments or is the ranking dependent on the amount of funding for the economics department?
I have seen B Lucey on a tv programme ,Primetime I think,claim he is well paid.
